Osteopathy in Action
Shadowing an osteopathic physician is a great way to gain insight and understanding of our particular medical discipline. Osteopathic physicians are trained in the same manner as allopathic physicians, but they also receive additional training in osteopathic manipulative medicine. This distinct approach to medicine allows osteopathic physicians to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms of their illness.
